Innovate Pasadena is hosting the technology and design innovation summit ENVISION 2014 starting October 22. Innovate Pasadena is a non-profit based in the greater Pasadena area working to foster the growth of a vibrant economy that supports innovation in design and technology. The purpose of the ENVISION 2014 summit is to inspire and discuss topics surrounding the innovations in the technology and design communities in the greater San Gabriel Valley. ENVISION 2014 will take place at the Pasadena Convention Center on Wednesday and Thursday, October 22-23, and will include a networking mixer and keynote address on Wednesday evening, as well as six speaker events and a fast pitch competition on Thursday. ENVISION 2014 is the headlining event for CONNECT Week 2014 which will take place October 20-26, and will include lectures, workshops, competitions, and networking events. These events will be an excellent opportunity to engage with the innovation community working in the San Gabriel Valley in a vibrant and fun atmosphere.

Arnold, The Dick and Barbara Dickinson Professor of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, and Biochemistry and Director of the Rosen Bioengineering Center at the California Institute of Technology; Andra Kaey, the Managing Director of Silicon Valley Robotics; Jack Kreindler, General Partner & Chief Medical Officer at Frost Data Capital; Mark Meadows, Co-Founder and Creator of Gepetto Avatars; Patricia Moore, the President of MooreDesign Associates; Scott Painter, Founder & CEO of TrueCar; and Sharon Vosmek, CEO of Astia.
